STRENGTH AND HONOUR has been available in the UK for a few years now (and is pretty Dire) Madsen is extremely out of shape in that movie, to be playing a bare-knuckle fighter. Vinnie Jones fares a bit better (but both their 'Oirish' accents are laughable)

Strength and Honor and The Killing Jar? I'll have to keep my eye out for the first one, and the second is in my Instant Queue. He has a ton on Watch Instantly that I want to check out, but as you know from this one, you're really playing roulette when you go through those, it's nice to have one you've heard good things about to check out.

Totally agree with your review. This was disappointing. It is just another junky Madsen movie. He needs to be in better stuff. The Killing Jar was a step in the right direction.

Also still waiting for the Michael Madsen-Vinnie Jones bare knuckle boxing flick, Strength and Honor to come to DVD. Heard that was pretty good.
